Buenas! Mi nombre es José Pedro, pero también pueden llamarme "Jose" (sin tilde). Soy de Montevideo, Uruguay y actualmente trabajo como desarrollador de software en Mercado Libre.

Siempre me gustó viajar y conocer nuevos lugares. De chico, tuve la oportunidad de viajar a Japón para asistir a un evento scout en Yamaguchi, visitamos Osaka, Kyoto y Tokyo también. A mis 18 años, hice mi primer viaje de mochilero por Europa y fue una experiencia increíble. Desde entonces, no he vuelto a viajar porque me tocó trabajar para ayudar en casa, tengo planes para visitar el sur de Argentina, el norte de Brasil, Costa Rica, México y, si todo sale bien, también el verano en Europa en 2023.

Escalo algunas veces al año con amigos de "la escalada" pero nos juntamos más a hacer asados que a escalar. Me gusta el tenis y el volley. No soy bueno en ninguno, me divierto.

Hi everyone! My name is José Pedro, but you can also call me "Jose" (without the tilde). I'm from Montevideo, Uruguay and I currently work as a software developer at Mercado Libre.

I've always liked to travel and visit new places. As a kid, I had the opportunity to travel to Japan for a scout event in Yamaguchi, and we also visited Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo. When I was 18, I took my first solo backpacking trip through Europe and it was an amazing experience. Since then, I haven't been able to travel as much because I've had to work to help out at home, but I have plans to visit the south of Argentina, the north of Brazil, Costa Rica, Mexico, and if all goes well, Europe in the summer of 2023.

I go rock climbing with some friends from "the climbing group" a few times a year, but we mostly get together to have barbecues rather than actually climbing. I also enjoy playing tennis and volleyball, although I'm not very good at either of them, I have fun anyway.

Algo increíble que he hecho

Una cosa increíble que hice fue en el viaje de 2017, me fui a dedo desde la casa de Lui (couchsurfer) en Berlin pensando en llegar a Amsterdam (700km) pero por las distintas vueltas que me fueron dando terminé en Lieja, en el medio pasé por muchas personas, me terminé bajando en el medio de la noche en un descampado y casi muero pero por suerte apareció alguien para salvarme. Ahora es un lindo recuerdo, pero fue bastante loco.

One amazing thing I did was on my trip in 2017, I hitchhiked from Lui's house (couchsurfer) in Berlin thinking I would get to Amsterdam (700km), but due to different turns I ended up in Liège. Along the way, I met many people, I ended up getting dropped off in the middle of nowhere in the middle of the night and almost died, but fortunately someone came to save me. It's a nice memory now, but it was quite crazy.
