Overview
About Me
I moved to Bucharest with my wife and still exploring România.
My friends say that I am outgoing and cheerful guy. Who knows, maybe they are right? Ahah) Smth between introvert and extravert, enjoy communicating with different people, have fun and explore everything and wondering like a little child. Nevertheless sometimes I am serious and want to be alone. You know like sitting with a worth-reading book or just listening to the sounds of wild nature. I can find every person interesting, though alternatively the boring part can be also found. But it all depends on what you seek in others.
I like driving a car, hiking, cycling, snowboarding, volleyball, tried surfing several times and want more. Like self-improvement, psychology, reading books in both Russian and English.
Have you heard about alphabet of happiness?)

Regulate your own behavior.
Smile often.
Think rationally.
Understand yourself.
Value life.
Work for the common good.
X-ray and carefully examine problems.

Good mood and interesting conversations
Places we visited and definitely recommend to do/visit in Bucharest and Romania:
1) See inside Palatul Parlamentului by taking a guided tour. If arranged via official website, it will cost twice cheaper (60 RON)
2) “The Little Paris” museum. Small and very cosy, shows how Bucharest was influenced by France. Very knowledgeable guide inside.
3) Parcul Cișmigiu. Ideal place in the city to have pleasant walks.
4) Mogoșaia parcul. Located outside the city it is an ideal retreat for the hot weather and has vast lawns. XVIII-th century palace inside also deserves attention.
5) "Țiriac Collection" Auto Gallery. Found it just by chance and it wasn’t announced in any guides. From car collections I’ve visited around the world it has the most well-maintained and vast collection of cool cars. Ticket costs only 20 RON
6) Muzeul Național de Istorie Naturală “Grigore Antipa”. Impressive exposition of different animals and skeletons (whale, mammoths). Ticket 20 RON and you can get a voucher for a cheaper ticket into Reptiland which will cost you 30 RON instead of 50.
7) Therme București. It has aquapark, saunas and a lot of great pools. Outdoor zone is also huge.
Outside Bucharest
1) Transfagarașan road. No words, you should drive through it yourself.
2) Brașov. The closest to Bucharest small and charming city.
3) Bran castle. I know that it may be too advertised but I just liked how it looked from outside and imagined what if Dracula was living there.
