About Me
Please kindly read My Home section before sending request to stay for your comfort!
My Home🏡:
I currently live in a shared rental detached house with nice housemates. While I do not have a dedicated guest room, I am happy to offer a cozy spot in my own room. I have an extra mattress (from Ikea) that I can set up on the floor, providing sleeping space. If you are comfortable with this setup, please feel free to send a stay request – I would be absolutely accept to host you if I am available!
Sorry, I work Monday through Friday. I can only host on Friday and Saturday. I unfortunately have space only for one person in my own room. I cannot host more than one person.
About Me🙃:
I am an adventurous clinical research🔬 nurse into the science at King’s College Hospital (London), and I absolutely love diving into new cultures and exploring hidden gems around me. When I am not on work, you will find me cycling, or discovering the parks and museums London has to offer. Staying active while exploring and when possible is my ultimate aim! I am a straight person.
My Couchsurfing🛋️ Journey:
🌍 As a proud Kurd, I have spent the last nine years connecting with incredible people from all corners of the world — all thanks to Couchsurfing! 🙌 It all started in 2016, when I was just a high school student from a small, out-of-reach village in Mardin, Turkey.
Meanwhile I had no plans of living abroad… I just knew I wanted to connect with the world, learn, grow, and have stories to tell.
Couchsurfing gave me a window into different lives, cultures, and perspectives — and eventually gave me the courage to move abroad and live in London.
Over the years, I’ve had the enjoyed meeting people from 30–40 countries — sharing stories ☕, exploring hidden gems 🗺️, and making real connections that have enriched my life.
First one of the nicest adventures, in July 2017, was hitchhiking over 1,500 km with a Hawaiian Couchsurfing friend, just to take him to my hometown and introduce him to culture and family life😅. I still reminisce and keep the photo album of those adventures. That friend now has over 500 reference!!!.
Second one of the nicest adventures, in August 2020, was hosting a Canadian couchsurfer in my village, where I grew up, over a month😅 during the COVID-19 lockdown. We would either go for a walk around the village, hang out on the rooftop, visit my relatives, play Uno with my siblings,
I now believe Couchsurfing is a safe and powerful space for those who want to connect beyond borders and learn what makes us both different 🌍.
Exploring London🇬🇧:
If staying at my place is not quite right for you, I would still love to hang out and show you some of London's unique places! I will most likely be free on weekends (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) to explore.
I try to be a helpful, kind, communicative, and open person, and I believe the essence of the Couchsurfing community lies in mutual kindness, respect and trust. If you are a trustworthy person, even if we just meet for an hour or two, I am sure we will have a valuable time!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I initially joined Couchsurfing nearly a decade ago, long before I ever aimed working and living in the UK. My primary goal at the time was simply to learn and practice English, secondarily making connections. Little did I know it would lead to such a transformative journey!
What began as language practice evolved into a deep appreciation for the diverse connections and shared experiences over the years. I have had the privilege of connecting with fascinating people from around the world, and those interactions have truly enriched my life. Today, I am on Couchsurfing to continue those meaningful memories.
