About me ! I am student. I just finished my bachelor degree and I am currently taking a gap year to travel the world. I have been traveling for 10 months and my trip has become more of a journey. It started in Morocco for five months where I did a student exchange then I decided to go down to West Africa using public transport. After 3 more months I found myself in Guinea-Bissau where I decided to go to Portugal where I stayed 2 months. And here I am in Turkey! I have no specific plan or end. I visit places that interest me and make things has I go. I am curious and open-minded. I try to understand the world around me. This is why I couchsurf and volunteer so I get to meet with local people and learn about the places I visit. I also wear an awesome hat.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
It is important for me to meet with the people of the country I visit and get a feel of the culture. I think Couchsurfing is one the best way to achieve this goal. The Couchsurfing community is awesome and I don’t think I would have get this far in this trip without it. I have been inspired by the people I met and when I come back home I would like to become a host in order to give back to the community.

MUSIC 🎶 For music I am all over the place. I kind of love everything but I don’t listen to a style in particular. It depends mostly about my mood but I usually these categories: - Quebec music - Rock’n Roll - Country - Reggae - World music (I am very interested in listening to your local music) MOVIES 🎥 I absolutely love watching movies and TV ! I don’t think I can fit all of my favorite in a short list. - Jango - Pulp fiction - Reservoir dog - Groundhog day - Les intouchables - Troy - Doctor strangelove and how i learned to love the bomb - Apocalypse Now - Total recall - Terminator - Predator - Alien And so much more ... As for series ! - Rick and Morty - Viking - GoT - House of Card - BoJack Horseman - Peaky Blinders BOOKS 📚 I used to be a big reader but I haven’t taken as much time as should lately to read because of my travels. I rode the iron ore train in Mauritania inside a cargo wagon which took me 400km into the Sahara desert.

What I Can Share With Hosts
I enjoy talking about my home province of Quebec and share my knowledge about its history and culture. I also sometimes carry some maple syrup with me when I travel so I can make you discover one the most typical Canadian food.
