Hi, I'm Raissa!

I confess that I had never used the platform until now, as I’m starting my sabbatical journey. I have been using the Hangout feature for now but I’d love the chance to connect even more by experiencing a stay this time!

I'm a traveler, dreamer, and a free spirit. Born and raised in Brazil, I spent years working for the government, but the comfort zone wasn't for me. I craved growth, adventure, and self-discovery.

Taking the leap, I moved to Canada to study, immerse myself in new cultures, and challenge myself. This journey taught me invaluable lessons, helped me improve my English, and even introduced me to French. Along the way, I formed lasting friendships (a new family ❤️) and uncovered new passions.

With a renewed sense of purpose, I switched careers and explored the travel industry. Now, as I embark on a sabbatical, I'm excited to continue pursuing knowledge, personal growth, and unique experiences!

Beyond my adventures, I'm passionate about exploration – both within and beyond borders! I love traveling and have visited 26 countries so far! For me, traveling is the ultimate journey of self-discovery. Exploring new lands, cultures, and flavors ignites my soul. Cooking, bartending and photography are my other hobbies!

As a native Portuguese speaker, I'd be thrilled to help you learn a little bit about our language too!
