I'm from Belgium, Brussels more precisely. I finished my studies on the January 28th of this year and decided to leave Belgium 3 days later to undertake a journey of more than a year. I worked in a corporate finance firm just before in the same time of my last academic semester but I quit because I realized that I didn't to spend my life in front of a desk. I needed some air, to discover the world before starting my professional career.

Therefore, I started my trip in Mexico and then I headed south till Bolivia. I have been in Guatemala, Costa Rica, Panama, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and now Bolivia. Hopefully I'll be able to travel another 4-5 months in Bolivia, Chile, Argentina and Brazil. The plan is to finish my trip at the carnaval of Rio de Janeiro.

The main reason is that I want to meet new people and in a different ways than with Tinder, Facebook or Instagram. More especially some locals because it's not always easy to meet locals when you spend most of your time in hostels with foreigners. I'm really keen to learn about the cultures of the countries that I visit and improve my Spanish!
