Hi,

I'm nineteen years old and I live in the Netherlands.
During my time at highschool i worked as a sailor on sailing yachts.

I love the "free" and "independent" feeling of being on a boat, that plus my love for the oceans made me realise i wanted a sailing boat for myself.

So i worked my ass off during my gapyear in Russia and Australia.
With my savings i bought a 28feet (8,6m) sailing boat!

Besides boats I very much enjoy to cook, dance and draw

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Money shouldn't be what is holding you back from traveling the world! Traveling doesn't need to be expensive, so i think couchsurfing is a great way to move around without having to spend alot of money.

And by couchsurfing you can skip all the tourist stuff, and actually learn about a community/ culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On my seventeenth, i cycled the Camino the Santiago. With a good friend of mine from my hometown in the Netherlands to Santiago the Compostella in Spain (2100 km). We cycled for 5 weeks and did alot of wildcamping!
