I feel alive when I surf in mid winter, on snowy day.
I feel alive when a police boat started chasing me, because I secretly came too close to fireworks on Lake Biwa, on my surfboard.
I feel alive when I sing and dance and drink along Kamogawa Riverside with many friends!

My first travel was in 1985, age14. It was two days Solo bycicle travel with no knowledge of bicycle travel, no tent, no sleeping bag, few money, no map and no internet. I got lost at midnight in a mountain.
But a couple hosted me.

In 1993, as age 22, I traveled Australia by bicycle and hitchhiking. No web connection and no couch surfing. But Some locals hosted me .

I broke my left knee ligament at age 28 by local mogul ski tournament. After my knee surgery, I became a national champion at over 40 age group 50m swimming freestyle 24.94second.

I saved a woman who were drowning in lake biwa.
