My name is Andrea, I'm 21 years old and I came to the U.S. with a program called Work and travel to make some money and also travel the counrty at the end of my stay for two weeks with my friend Anges, who we go to university together back home. We are very excited to finally see New York and experience this new culture in a big city like that, since we worked in Mackinaw city for these three months and didn't have much time to do so.
We are outgoing and friendly, love music and would love to try out new food and drinks while we are here in the U.S.

Since it's our first time in the U.S. we wanted our experience to be the fullest. We didn't just wanna book a hotel, we wanted to make new friends, really get a taste of what a real new yorkers life is like. We didn't just wanna come here as tourists, we wanted to feel like we belong there, even if just for a couple days.

I think since we are from Europe and we've travelled quiet a lot there, we can bring something from all kinds of cultures and share that with our host. Our culture, as we noticed, is pretty different in many ways from the american culture and we feel like we became richer humans because the time we spent here and the people we met, we hope that with our visit, our host can experience the same thing.
