We are a young couple with no kids yet. We both work in IT and dream about that one day we will get out of it. IT is a good career these days but we achieved a lot in it and want to move on to some other interesting stuff. The most we like in our life is traveling and meeting new people that is why we created this profile. This year (2018) we plan to travel around Europe for half a year. Quit our jobs and dive into adventure!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
We would like to meet people from all over the world who are keen on traveling, sharing new experiences and are open-minded. We live in Sydney and we would like to meet people to show our beautiful city, give some tips. Usually, when we travel we want to catch up with locals to get the most from the new place.
Music, Movies, and Books
We have pretty much similar taste. We love all kind of music especially Rock, Alternative and Jazz. Stas plays piano a bit. We are not really movie watchers because we prefer to spend time actively but our favorite movies are 'Amelie', 'A Christmas Carol' and 'Desperate Housewives'. With books, we are quite different. Kate doesn't like reading. Stas reads different books from psychology to fantasy. My favorite authors are Haruki Murakami, Terry Pratchett and George Orwell. Kate's favorite artists are Van Gogh, Claude Monet and many others. Stas adores to watch anime and has a crazy idea to create his own one. His favourite ones are 'The Monster', 'Death Note' and 'Vampire Hunter D'.
