Hi there! I’m Keli ,a curious soul from China currently calling Hokkaido, Japan, home. By day, I teach Chinese, sharing my language and culture with students—but my true passion lies in connecting with people from all walks of life. After a year living in the U.S. and years of solo adventures, I’ve learned that the best memories come from unexpected conversations and hidden local gems, not just guidebook highlights.

While I’ve been on Couchsurfing for years (and surfed many couches in the past!), a hiatus led to losing my old references. No worries—I’m still the same tidy, adaptable, and open-minded traveler who loves swapping stories over tea or exploring a city’s secret spots.
