About Me

I'm not quite fond of speaking about myself but God help you if we find some interesting topic to discuss: you'll have to shut me up!
My mood can swing in a second between sombre and toughtful to funny and facetious. So don't worry, that's just me.
If i stay put into one place and life situation too long i get lazy and bored.
I need inputs, i need to talk, to listen and to learn at new people and things, in order to get energized and active!
I have two backpacks that have been following me in my travels since i was 16.
My humor can be dark and/or grotesque and i like to play the role of Devil's advocate during conversations. If you want to get considered as a guest when you send me a message you should definitely mention the current leader of North Korea. Otherwise, no deal. I prefer a loud symposium between friends to a loud party amongst strangers where you can't hear the next person.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A friend talked me about this. I'll like to give it a try. I hope you people are not too crazy :)

I try to visit places not the tourist way but exploring and living as if i were a local, so this thing here has interested me from the very beginning.
I'm interested into hanging out with new friends (i hope!) and interesting people that have something to share.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love to read about explorations, philosophy, history, horror stories. If i find something that looks promising (even from the cover) i'll read it.
Some of my favourite authors are Poe, Byron, Lovecraft, Howard, Dunsany, Pirandello, Benni, Bukowsky...
I usually listen to contemporary classical music, minimalist composers (like Arvo Part or Nyman), but if i'm in a strange mood here comes Doom Metal, Death Metal, and more "aggressive" music such as Electic Wizard, Iron Monkeys, Sunn 0))), Hate & Merda. I'm currently digging into indie games soundtrack composers (Jessica Curry and Austin Wintory, for example) and bluegrass music. Recently discovered Perturbator and Carpenter Brut. Loving the guys.
My favourite movies are "Conan the Barbarian", "Night of the Wolf - Late Phases", "Dagon" and "Fantozzi".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was photographed by a tourist near the Duomo in Florence while i was with a girl. We where unknowingly in a romantic pose and the guy thanked us (out of the blue!) after taking the picture and walked away. We never got to see the picture or the man again. I hope it was a good picture!

Teach, Learn, Share

I know I do not know, so i'm open to learn anything new.
I can share what i have, just ask and we'll arrange something.
About teaching....i know a bit of everything and nothing in detail, so...
