Hello!

I'm Joana and I'm a portuguese girl.
Currently, I work in an Association called Gap Year Portugal Association that has the aim of inspiring people to get off their comfort zone and to go have new experiences and meet new worlds.

I truly believe in the power of people. For me, magic is to meet new people, live new experiences and discover more of me and more of the world.

I felt in love with the world while doing volunteer, and since then I've never stopped travelling.

I'm always looking for a new challenge or a new experience. For me, the more we go out of our confort zone, the more we grow and discover ourselves. And that is amazing :)

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I really believe that the magic of travelling its in the people we meet along the way. A person make a place. So, that's why I'm in Couchsurfing, because I think it is one of the best ways to, not only, meet new people, but also, to get to know the place where we are from a completely different (and special) perspective.

So, I promisse to offer a good talk, crazy stories and a taste of portuguese food! :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I've done two experiences of international volunteer in Fogo Island, Cape Verde that were completely amazing and truly life-changing.

Also, the time I spent living and traveling on the other side of the world (Macao and southeast Asia) were one of the best times of my life. Getting to know yourself in a totally different culture is mind blowing!
