About Me

Hiii there! I'm a 24 year old girl from Barcelona, recently graduated from Medicine school. During the next months I'll be traveling through Latin America and doing a medical volunteering project.

I love traveling alone, with friends or family and meeting loads of people along the way, as well as discovering many secret places in every city. I hope we will meet soon!

Hola!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to discover the world and feel like I'm also a part of it, and better way is there? Like a wise friend said: "I'm no turist, I'm just a traveller"

The way I understand it, Couchsurfing is something ideally very pure that we all have to protect: based on the will of sharing anything, from a piece of floor, to a whole weekend of your time. It is a community that is build on absolute trust because even though travel is one of the things that will set you free, it also makes you quite vulnerable: you are far away from home, there is a language barrier.... Please don't use Couchsurfing for flirting or trying to get laid, think that the person who is staying at your place probably has no easy way out if she/he is not comfortable staying with you. So if your intention is to get laid, I would kindly ask you to deny my request and to reconsider what you are doing here!

I also think that CS is one of the most ecologic ways of traveling. Avoiding hotels, AirBnB and similars you are fighting against massive construction and the problems tourist flats are creating in many cities such as Barcelona.

I worked as an au pair for 2 summers, one in Brussels and one in Paris, getting to know two amazing families and their cities.

I have done a medical stay in Cuba with some of my best friends. It was great to experience the really different healthcare system that they have there, the different way of practicing medicine and mostly of teaching it.

For 6 months I've been an Erasmus exchange student in Bologna, Italy were I've lived some of the most memorable moments of my life.

I want to make here a short list of amazing things that have happened to me thanks to Couchsurfing and the amazing hosts I've had:
- Having a two day conversation that only stopped because we needed to sleep in Turin, Italy with Federico Cafiso
- Having dinner in a patio while seeing the most beautiful sunset surrounded by vineyards in Chianti, Tuscany, Italy with Kirill Laurynau
- Spending an evening in Verona, Italy with Adriano Zanoni
- Eating home made ricotta gnocchi and riding a motorcycle through an olive field in Brenzone sul Garda, Lago di Garda, Italy with Massimo Brighenti
- Learning all about Napoli's history with Francesco Legorano
