Hello! I'm Myeongjin in South Korea.

Now I'm traveling all around Europe for 130 days but having no specific plan, just always trying to do my best in all day. usually using Couchsurfing and Hitchhiking!
Living in Hwaseong - near the capital, Seoul, and I'm 22 years old Korea University student.
I just finished my 2 year compulsory military service in Korea.
I love many things in the world. I love passion and desire to feel and learn everything.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I always like to have meetings with new people, various experiences and to learn new things.
It makes me really alive and always picking me up, the connections and experiences.

I hope we share many things and have a conservation with some drink.
If you and I meet together, it will be priceless experience :)

I usually read novels, essays, and fantasy fictions.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Now traveling all around Europe for 130 days, using Couchsurfing and Hitchhiking, with no plan, no phone :)

- In this travel, I've been Germany, Switzerland, East France, Paris, Normandy, London, Scotland, Faroe islands, Iceland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Austria. and I'm going to Italy, Croatia, Slovenia, Spain, Portugal, Turkey, Egypt.

- In Asia, I traveled North Korea when I was young, Okinawa and Miyakojima - very beautiful islands in south Japan, Philiphines, Singapore, China, Thailand.

- Leading amateur astronomical observation clubs for 5 years - using telescope, we often traveled to somewhere to see the stars and universe. We spent many nights below the of curtain of a lot of stars ;-

- Playing piano for 13 years, sometimes participating in school festival concert.

- Traveling Iceland for 3 weeks, hiking to inland for 1 week and saw huge storm of Northern Lights.

- Hiking in Himalaya, Nepal Annapurna for 3 weeks.

- Getting scuba diving license in Bohol, Philippines.

- Traveling many places in South Korea, including Jeju island a few times by scooter.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share : Korean (I teached high school students)
Korean culture and food, music, my travel experiences, and other things you're interested in my life.

I can learn : your language and your place you live or lived, and anything you are good at. I prepare to learn all things!

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you are with me, I can share my experience and opinions, knowledge about Korea, travel, and everything I like. Also, if you have enough time I like hangout together too!

And sometimes it can be possible cooking Korean food for you, though it's not such a good thing h.h
