I like to meet locals, and its cheaper than hostels. Sometimes less rats too.

When i was a kid i used to draw a lot. Then i sort of let it slip as life got more serious. When i started traveling i started drawing again, and i find it to be one of my favorit past time activities. Im no professional, never taken any classes or anything, just something i like to do by myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

Reading books is something of an on and off passion for me. Life is less distracting when traveling, so i find books to be more captivating than usual. Trying to get through some of the classics, like Moby Dick and Confederacy of Dunces, and i enjoy a lot of sakprosa (i guess one would call it no-fiction or written documentaries). I like Charles Bukowski a lot, even if he is a bit one-note.
I would say i am more versed in movies than in books. Im a big fan of Stanley Kubrick, Alejandro Jodorowsky, Edgar Wright, Charlie Kaufman, Park Chan-Wook, Lars von Trier, Michael Haneke, the Safdie brothers and the Coen brothers as well.
I would say i enjoy most music, and at the same time i also thourogly dislike most music. There are good artists in any genre, as long as it has a unique personality and character i can get down with it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Honestly getting through my studies with pretty decent grades was pretty amazing. God it was awfull. Also, getting my divers licence in Egypt a few years after having a surgery that restricts me from ever diving, because i forgot. That was amazingly stupid.

Teach, Learn, Share

Really want to learn more about drawing. Also cooking recipies and Yoga would be nice. Every skill is useful.
