Hmmm... I'm a bachelor of Fine Arts Graduate this coming Spring from the University of Ottawa and I'm planning to travel this coming year. I'm passionate about Visual Art and I practice many of the disciplines myself. I'm also am a huge outdoors fan... but mostly in the Spring and Summer. Ottawa's Winter can be quite chilly. Fitness is also another one of my passions. In the past, I was a provincial level gymnast for many years but of course I'm now retired. I'm also an avid reader... I would love some book recommendations! At the moment, I work as a waitress in the Byward Market. I also live with a furry friend, my cat Nora.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have found myself on Couchsurfing because I'm looking for a way to meet people from all around the world. I am fascinated by other cultures and really would love to meet and exchange stories. I also have learned a lot about Ottawa in the four years I've lived here and would love to show it off to others from around the globe. The art scene in Ottawa also my specialty and is often overlooked and over shadowed by Montreal which I think is a shame. I would love to show off the beauty that is Ottawa. :)

Music, Movies, and Books

My music is quite wide spread. I am mostly into Jazz, Rock, Alternative Rock and Indie. I love fantasy and (art) historical fiction books, "Oil and Marble" by Stephanie Storey is quite good. Historical movies are my fav but I'm kinda a history buff and basically any fantasy movie I'm down for.. love the Hobbit more then I should.

I can teach english, painting, drawing ... and gymnastics. Hey if you ever wanted to learn a handstand or a cartwheel I'm your person. But I also have great stories over my years in Art School.
