Hi, I'm Alek and study medicine in last year in Berlin (I´m from Poland though). My life and plans for future are changing lately so quickly that it is hard to write something specific. The only think I know is that directly after the graduation I take I flight to Latin America and will stay there for 1 year doing my medical intership in various countries.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I´ve always wanted my travels to be special in some way, but in reality it´s hard nowadays, because people have been already everywhere-literally! I think the only thing which is always different and really makes the journey special are the people. I think couchsurfers are a amazing community I'm proud to be a part of it. Unfortunately I for now I don't have conditions to host people at my place but one time I would definitely like to do it as well!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Last year I took a breake from the university and travelled solo for 6 months through Sount America. It was definitely an adventure of my life, but it was definitely not the last one!

4 years ago I bought an old and cheap VW Caddy and together with friends converted into a van. I have to say the time in this car was one of the best in my life. I felt so free knowing I can drive and sleep wherever I want. I took with friends 2 longer trips, one from Berlin to Barcelona and one over 3 weeks long roadtrip through all Balcan countries(except of Greece, it was too hot haha) and we made that time over 5000km.
I´ve got a looot of cool roadtrip ideas in my head, such as driving with car from Germany to India, but I would need a bit more time for that. Anyways, I hope I´ll be able to do it sometime :)
