Hi! I’m Tim, I studied Aeronautical Engineering and I’m currently working at the civil aviation authority of the Netherlands. I have a great love for flying, traveling and adventure!

Interests

I’m very curious and always looking for new challenges and interests. My biggest interest is flying gliders, which I’m doing now for more than six years. Flying without an engine and being one with your airplane and the forces of nature, soaring up into the sky is one the greatest feelings in the world ✈️!!

Other interest I have are Krav Maga (I’m a sweet guy, really you can trust me 😉), ballroom and latin dancing, riding motorcycles and horse riding since October 2019.

Music, Movies, and Books

One of my favorite movies and books is the Martian. The story is about an astronaut who got stranded at Mars and sciences and engineers himself out of every shit situation and eventually makes it back to earth.

Further I’m a big fan of the first Cars movie, which shows it is not always about winning and being competitive, but also to slow down, enjoy the ride and not only the destination.
