Hi! I’m Akif.

I live in Andırın, a small and green district of Kahramanmaraş. It’s not a very popular destination and unfortunately not many Couchsurfers pass through here — which is a bit sad — but if you’re looking to rest, slow down, and experience a sweet, peaceful town surrounded by nature, my door is open. I’ve received so much kindness from people during my travels, and maybe this is my way of giving something back.

If I’m available, I’d be happy to show you around. Winters are cold and summers are cool compared to many cities in Turkey.

I live with my parents. My mom is very hospitable and enjoys meeting Couchsurfing guests. Since I’ve stayed with many hosts myself, I understand the value of trust and respect in this community. Depending on availability, I can offer a private room or a sleeping place in the living room.

Please start your message with “Andırın” so I know you’ve read my profile. Sharing your travel plan in advance is important for me. Last-minute requests are difficult — writing 4–5 days earlier is much better.
