Hello! I'm currently living in North Carolina, USA. I've traveled to many cities in Europe. Amsterdam and Lisbon have been my favorites. I'm hoping to start traveling to South America soon. I think the best of traveling, is meeting people from all over the world.

So I love all things associated with food. Serving, cooking and eating it. My favorite thing to do while traveling is to dine out and experience the local cuisine. It's fun to dine at restaurants. But shopping at food stores in other countries, I'm able to learn of their eating traditions more. I'd love to cook traditional recipes with locals.

I'm known to be a fun and chill person. Along with a funny sense of humor. I'm open minded to all people. As long as one is a kind person.

Trance music is a big part of my life. I travel to places such as Netherlands to attend festivals. It's a great way to meet people from all over the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people from around the world. It's great to learn of other cultures. I have discovered that people are from different cultures but still make strong connections. Some dearest friends are from other countries.

I don't prefer to do a lot of the "touristy" things when I travel. Experiences are more enriching when one spends time with other travelers and the locals. CS has helped me to do this. During trips, I have attended CS meetups. I met people from all over the globe. In the groups there were people from Italy, Brazil, India, Egypt and Saudi Arabia. It was the highlight of my travels.

Interests

I eat, drink and be merry 😀. I have worked in restaurants for over 20 years. I get to serve people food. It's rewarding because great food makes people happy. People connect through eating. I get to be apart of creating those bonding moments.
Of course I love to travel.
