Hi there! My name is Dee (they/them), I am 20 years old and from South Africa. I am travelling the world one country at a time, right now I’m in Argentina and I’m loving it. I began my travels in November 2022, I had dropped out of university and decided that travelling was what I needed to do. I needed to explore the world, experience things I had not before and really put myself outside of my comfort zone. I have already had so many amazing experiences that I never thought I’d have and I welcome all the ones that are yet to come!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I have learnt through doing workaways that the best experiences come when I get to meet people especially those who are from here, not only do you receive the best advice on the area and get a firsthand experience of what it is like to live in the area but you get to meet the most amazing people. It was through workaways that I found couchsurfing…I had heard of it before but never really looked into it much. I am now taking that leap. I’m excited to meet new people and share our lives with each other.

What I Can Share With Hosts
I would love to share stories of my home as well as hear theirs. I love to cook so we cook exchange cultural dishes, cook together…share a cervezita ;) I am really wanting to improve upon my Spanish…it is not very good but I hope through speaking and listening to native speakers I can improve.
