About Me

I was born in Hidalgo but grew up in Dallas, Texas!
In 2019 I moved back to Mexico to travel. I’ve lived in a couple of states since, but am now settled where I was born, helping build up my community and tending to my crops. :)

I would say i'm laid back when you're getting to know me. I’m a quiet person but if you talk to me I’ll always happily reply, haha! Once I get to know you or we become friends I am definitely more extroverted hehe.

I'm a big fan of going out and exploring the underground scenes and its culture. I also enjoy attending music events from time to time. I live a 3 hour bus ride to CDMX so it's usually where I go to enter into the urban world again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am back on Couchsurfing after having used it for a while back in 2022 - 2023, and I loved it, hosting everyone, meeting new people both where I lived and where I traveled. I love getting to know different experiences and perspectives. I’d like to help out in hosting travelers now, I believe its a rewarding experience.

We have a few hidden gems here in my state. We're close to "Tolantongo" hot springs. We have a rich culture here and direct access to travel to CDMX or any other state.

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely love music, it allows me to feel and express emotions that are hard for me to bring out sometimes.

I played the flute at my schools orchestras for 8 years. Various indie and hiphop genres have grown to be my favorite.

Recently reggaeton.

I love electronic / house music. A bunch of other songs from different genres and artists.

My top favorite films would include the Lord of the Rings

I also like watching shows from time to time and animes!

At a young age I read a lot of fiction and romantic novels, ever since I’ve found myself reading more biographies, technical documents for computer science, music, books on geopolitics, articles on philosophy, physics, psychology and other sciences. Im currently really into reading on the evolution of Mexico and our cultures during Mesoamerica.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Decided to move to a country I’ve never lived in, seen, not visited, by myself. A month before I did.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can show you around the different hiking and nature spots here where we live! :) I can teach you about our culture and how to get around. We live where the valley meets the mountains so there is a lot of nature here. I can teach out about our food, and also! vegan diets we find while out foraging, if you prefer.

If you need to wind down, rest and take a break from the city and the high cost of living there, you're welcome in our home to connect with nature and rest.

I enjoy talking about software engineering. If you need any help in learning about it I’m always up for it. I also enjoy learning so if you’re also in the industry I’m always down to chat about it.

I’d like to learn to speak French and to paint. Also anything having to do with Photography and traveling. 🤩
