About Me
** CURRENTLY TRAVELING. I'M NOT IN BASEL **
Hello 🌼
My name is Felicitas, and my name fits 100% to me :) I'm a gentle and kind human being trying to live a simple and meaningful life. All I need is less. What matters to me are real connections, shared moments, and the little things that make life beautiful.
I’m passionate about traveling in a slow, conscious way — hitchhiking, finding lost places, and meeting people who live and love deeply. I like to see the world through their eyes and learn from their passions.
I've had amazing times with my hosts around the world and would love to give back — through laughter, good talks, helping hands, and open-hearted energy.
* I'm a big fan of hitchhiking and wild camping. Let's go for an adventure *
If I send you a request, you can trust that I’ve truly read your profile and felt a resonance. Something about you and your life fascinates me. Please allow me to tag along for a part of your day or a spare moment for a chat.
I enjoy community and connection, but I also value quiet time to recharge. I love depth, kindness, and honest conversations.
This isn’t a dating app — please respect my boundaries and approach with the same sincerity you'd like to receive.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am interested in connecting with people all over the world. Humans are interesting and I like to spend my time with them. I'm exploring the world. I like the idea of sharing food, cooking together, and having deep conversations about everything. CS has been the most amazing way for me to meet new people and truly experience the places I visit.
I love to travel slowly, taking in the local smells, lights, and sounds while connecting with people along the way. Couchsurfing and workaway are often my go-to sources of inspiration when planning my next adventure.
When I cannot see the world, the world comes to see me.
I try to host wherever I am. Even though it's not my own apartment. Sometimes it's a room, a tent or a car.
I'm minimalist- I need a roof above my head and don't care if it's grass, floor or cotton under my back. My small backpack and I don't take up too much space.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Quit my job for travelling
Teach, Learn, Share
Meeting people can lead to getting to know someone or to find myself. Every person is a life lesson. Sharing is caring.
Can you teach me your favorite dance move?
My mission: make the world a better place.
I care about the environment. I love eating local // snacks from the street. I collect garbage along my way.
Words change everything. Be kind to every kind.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm shy at the beginning but when I feel comfortable I'm a very funny person (unfortunately not in English. So when you have the feeling, I'm weird, I try to be funny 🙃)
I can show you my favorite places in my beautiful hometown, teach you german. I have two bicycles for exploring the area.
