Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The best trips I have ever done that changed my life were a product of people’s solidarity and generosity. I believe people that engage in this kinds of iniciatives have in common the understanding of how human connection can bring a lot of satisfaction and sense of wellbeing and not only that, but that we all understand the values that make all of this work because we have all experienced it first hand.

Interests

I have a lot of special interests. Here are the most general ones: I love listening to music (classical, indie, and movie soundtracks are one or my favorite genres), reading books and classics, learning and creating all sort of things, taking big walks in nature, doing sport, painting and drawing and always exploring new places even if they are around the corner.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am really curious about music and really really open to a lot of different genres.
I really love cinema in general, it has always been part of me since I was young. When I travalled to Ireland I started watching way more films, series and documentaries but I would say the first three that come to mind are…imposible to chose but I would be willing to have a conv about new recommendations :))

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

*I lived with another family different from mine for 10 months in Ireland when I was a teen. Indeed it changed my life.
* I travelled to France in 2021 to work in a farm, where I met my boyfriend. Despite the adversities of the trip I am so grateful I came to arrive to the place I did and meet him.
*I interrailed around Europe with my boyfriend the summer of 2022 during 3 weeks and i’m still amazed of how amazing the experience was.
*I spent an afternoon with Greta Thumberg and my friends in one of the biggest enviromentalists protests in Madrid during the COP25 in 2019.
* Doing an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange of 9 days near to Lille, France on October '24 and meeting the most amazing people. Please look up what it is if you are between 20-30 y/o and you want to travel completely funded and learn about the world!

Teach, Learn, Share

As a student, I work part time in my city, in
an iniciative to educate all kinds of people on a variety of topics and skills. I love how teaching and learning is a thing not only reserved to the classroom but to the daily life. I’m really open to share and to receive and just by the novelty of interacting with people you haven’t met, you are already doing that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love sharing, collaborating and having a good time, whether it’s a quiet good time or the opposite. I like going to parties but I would love to see more inclusive enviroments for all kinds of people with different necessities when partying.
If I accept you as a guest is because I want to get the best experience of it altogether so we can do activities together, cook together and hang out if I see you want to too. If you are more introverted or need more space, it is also perfectly valid and good too.
