Why I’m on Couchsurfing

no matter how many guides or youtube videos you watch, nothing hits like seeing a place through the eyes of someone who actually lives there.. locals carry the real beat of a city — the stories.. the food.. the small jokes..

that’s why i’m here. not just to visit, but to feel a place from the inside — even if it’s just for a few days. hosts are like portals into new fantasy worlds, and i love stepping through them..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

probably leaving Russia in 2022..

no big drama — just a backpack and too many thoughts.. i left because i didn’t wanna be part of the war machine.. it was scary, messy, beautiful, and freeing all at once.

since then i’ve been living abroad, learning to start over from zero.. feels like burning down the old version of myself and rising like a phoenix..
