About Me

I am a vegetarian. I don't even eat eggs. As a hardcore traveller, I have stayed in mandirs, Ashrams, dargas, Daramsalas, Gurudwaras, and even pitched my tent on the hills. I carry my tent, sleeping mat, and sleeping bag with me. I would squeeze into any little space offered to me. So kindly do not bother about my comfort. I love to stay with families more than anything. My expectation from the host is close to none apart from a 6 feet by 3 feet space to rest my back in the night. Everything that comes over and above that is an absolute bonus ☺️

📍 Experimentalist - I try to experiment with life in different ways including my own psychology
📍 Experientialist - I try to experience life putting myself in situations which I wouldn't be in at the comfort of a couch in my house

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my PhD, I worked on the biophysical and biochemical aspects of proteins, acquiring in-depth knowledge on the ‘small - micro scale’ aspects of existence. The spiritual journey lasted 7 years long over which I figured out my newfound interest in human psychology, especially the beauty of individuality 🧑‍🦱

I want to use the cognitive skills acquired along with the cycling experience I gained over the last 7 years, to study the traits and uniqueness of individuals in this diverse nation 👳🧕🧑‍🎨🧑‍🎤🧑‍🚀

Interests

I'm not sure if my travel is news worthy. I am not doing this with any outward motto. I am doing this all for myself. The idea behind the travel is to learn and grow as an individual. I am collecting experiences which I intend to share later in the form of a book 📚
I enjoy collecting psychological perspectives. This subject will be closest to my heart. The question is simple: why do people think the way they do? 🤔
I try to answer the fundamental questions of life such as what is right or wrong? How does community living influence the way we think? Are we a subject of nature or nurture? ✅❌
I have a number of other questions to which I have got valuable insights. 🕵️
Apart from this, I am also writing an article on every state I have visited in the journey on what I am getting to see and experience in my travel. I am doing this to have my travel documented in some way! Although I do not lay much emphasis on this front! 🗞️
You can find my latest articles here:
https://cycletourindia.com/state-summary/

My story is simple:
I have been forced into the line of education all my life. I was pushed to the point where I ended up questioning all that I knew. I found no meaning in living a life of security pursuing the mere materialistic pleasures of life. You can say I am finding some sort of a solace in this travelling 🧳
We can get to speak on this more later. Or rather, you can add to what I know or don't know when we meet 🤝

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my experience of travelling ✈️, teach science at a level which is dumbed down to the general population 🔬. Provide insights on the general philosophy of life in the point of view of science ⚛️.

I would say one of the major reasons for me to travel will be to sit and listen to people on their way of life 🛋️
“Tell me all the justifications you make, the validations you seek, the goods you consume, and every complaint of yours, I will tell you exactly who you are” 🧒 If you can tell me about the philosophy by which you live your life, I am all ears 🎧

I'd love to learn about the local cultures and traditions 👫. Experience a variety of local food 🥗. Finally also hear and learn from the hosts experiences 🏡

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can help you provide perspectives on science the way you can never imagine it to be 🤔
Ask me if you want your mind blown 🤯 and I will help you with it.
Apart from my experiences and colloquial talk, I can also help the host with their daily chores.
As I am not much into sightseeing, I can almost offer my time completely to the host 🙂
