Hi, I’m Martin — father of three fantastic kids, seeker of Beautiful Buckets™, and current housemate of Jesus Christ Himself. Yes, that Jesus. He moved in quietly one day and never left. Honestly, He’s the most low-maintenance roommate I’ve ever had. Zero snoring. Infinite forgiveness. 10/10 would host again.

Life used to be me and my ex traveling the world hunting for buckets. Now it’s me, the kids, and Jesus hunting for meaning, snacks, and occasionally a matching pair of socks. Spoiler: Jesus doesn't wear socks. Mine remain a mystery known only to higher powers.

I’m still very much into buckets. A good bucket can hold water, dreams, or emotional baggage. A great bucket has a smaller bucket inside it — which, according to ancient family lore, means we can shower. Jesus hasn’t confirmed this doctrine, but He hasn’t denied it either, so I take that as spiritual approval.

We live in beautiful, rainy Bergen, where Jesus claims He could part the clouds if He wanted to… but prefers to “build our character.” Thanks, buddy.
