My name is Ivory. I’m Indonesian and currently living in Hong Kong.

I really love traveling, especially enjoying nature. As I get older, I’ve come to appreciate journeys into forests, mountains, diving spots, and places rich in culture. Climbing a mountain is still just a dream for now, but I truly hope I can make it happen someday.

I’m very thankful whenever I meet fellow travelers who don’t smoke, as I find it hard to enjoy being around cigarette smoke.

Other than that, I love exploring things I don’t yet know — especially listening to people’s stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I used to love meeting new people — I never thought twice about making friends with anyone.

But as life went on, I became more selective about who I let into my circle, thinking about who I should be friends with and why, so I could stay true to myself.

However, after giving it some thought, I realized that I don’t need to close myself off from new connections. I believe there are kind people everywhere — especially among travelers — and we’ll probably get along just fine.
