My name is Sofiia, to be honest, I'm 17 years old, but I have a possibility to travel only by myself. I really like traveling and discovering different cultures. I was in some countries for free, because I'm a Scout and sometimes we have different opportunities for travel to other countries for free. I'm a member of the District's Student Self-Government, member of National Organisation Scouts of Ukraine, member of National and Kyiv Youth Council, volunteer of Red Cross. Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because travelling is a very expensive thing and I don't have the possibility to pay enough for accommodation. But except this, I want to meet new people, learn culture through people

Interests

As I mentioned previously, I really like to travel🧳, because in travelling you can explore cultures through people, music, architecture, food and obviously nature. For me, traveling is an almost impossible pleasure because this is very expensive. Also, I really-really like listening to different 🎧 in different languages and singing them. And my life couldn't exist without Scouting⚜️, because it's a very big part of my daily life. I'm working with children who had to move from the occupied and dangerous zones in the East and South of Ukraine in the noon and all day camps. I like doing genealogy of my family, I have over 1000 people in my family tree🌳 Also I like to learn foreign languages because all of them have their own interesting details. I have B1-B2 English, C2 Ukrainian and russian, B2 Belarusian, A1-A2 Italian and A1-A2 Polish, A1-A2 Slovenian

If you want, I would teach you Ukrainian or Russian (yeah, in my personal life I speak Russian, but I'm not russian, I'm Ukrainian and I love my country and Ukrainian language, I hate ALL russians, WHO AGREE with this terrible and scary war, which they have started over 10 years ago (but it's not about all of russians because I understand that they are different people). Also I can tell you about Scouting in the whole world, but I'm a masterpiece in Ukrainian Scouting, ahahahaha😎 Maybe, some of Ukrainian traditional food if you want to, also I can sing some of Ukrainian, and not only, songs for you or with you.
