Chi sono

• I started my adventure in Asia at 19, and for the past two and a half years, I’ve traveled through 15 countries in South and Southeast Asia. I’ve really enjoyed getting to know the different communities and discovering the unique traditions and crafts each place offers. I have a special fondness for weaving and dyeing crafts, which always captivate me.

• Music is a huge part of my life—I’ve loved world and folk music for as long as I can remember and began making my own electronic music when I was 17. From hypnotic ambient sounds to harsh chaotic punk music, to indigenous mantras and wonky electronic music! I love traditional old music to experimental new music.

• Another huge passion in my life is crafting clothing. I love working with natural fibres and botanical dyeing. In Malaysia, I’ve started learning natural dyeing and I’ve been expanding my knowledge in Thailand and most recently in Japan. My intention is to learning traditional weaving slowly so I can make clothing completely from the beginning of the process.

• Hiking through beautiful landscapes with my travel buddies is something I cherish. I’ve had amazing experiences on trails like the Henro Pilgrimage in Shikoku, Japan and treks in Western Nepal, where the scenery takes your breath away.

• I’m always looking for ways to live a more wholesome and sustainable life, and I aim to be open-hearted and honest in everything I do. I like volunteering in wholesome projects across the globe and getting to know different ways of living. I love going far off the beaten traveller’s path and find the authentic side of life.

• One of the highlights of my travels is foraging for seeds in the different environments I visit. My favourite is the Devil Water Chestnut, a unique seed I love to find. I also enjoy exploring ancient sites and learning about past civilizations, with Gunung Padang in Java, Indonesian being one of my favorite prehistoric location.

• I have a deep appreciation for global cuisines, and there’s something truly exciting about exploring the diverse flavors and dishes from around the world. I particularly enjoy seeking out local organic food to support sustainable farming and also my own health.
