Hey there, I’m Genevieve (Eve). I’m 22 and from Devon in England. I’m currently teaching English as an aux near Seville/Cadiz, Spain. I just moved here and I'm looking to explore the surrounding area, meet new people and have a cultural exchange! I’m new to couch surfing but I am keen to begin my adventure here.

As well as working in a primary school I am a freelance poet and journalist and love to travel as a means to inspire my creative work. I love writing and meeting other creative minded folk to share ideas and learn from them.

My other hobbies include running, yoga, cooking, fashion and rummaging around flea markets

I have been in Andalucía for around two months now and I am keen to see more of the region now that I have found my own place etc. When I get a spare moment I also plan to put up my own place here in Arcos de la Frontera as a place for other couchsurfers to come and enjoy. I have a wonderful terrace and am a decent cook 🧑‍🍳

I am new to couch surfing but I am keen to join the community because I have heard great things from friends who have used the app to meet like minded people and travel around. Whilst I do not have a host of glowing reviews to testify yet, I am super excited to begin my couch surfing journey

I love traveling and have had the opportunity to visit and live in a host of amazing countries, including living in Australia for a year, and Scotland for four. In terms of travelling I have backpacked around Vietnam and Thailand, been to California, much of Europe and the Bahamas. The next places I would like to visit are Morroco and Turkey

I speak English and am learning Spanish. Whilst I am learning I am still not very confident in Spanish so speak slow and please be patient. I love practicing my language skills and charting my progress but it is still early days.

I am here to make new friends, explore andalucia and create memories

I am on Couchsurfing because I would love to meet new people. This year is my first year living in a small town and whilst I love the peace and tranquility of Pueblo life I do definitely sometimes carve the excitement of a bigger city and the host of interesting people you can meet there. Through Couchsurfing I would love to be able to meet likeminded individuals and escape the small town bubble at weekends for a bit of urban hubbub. I also would love to have someone show me round their city as it is definitely the best way to explore and really get to know a region

I would love someone who is more experienced at yoga to guide me through some practice as I usually just use YouTube videos and would be excited to partake in group practice

I am able to offer some conversational English practice as well as basic crochet lessons. I am a decent cook and am good with both children and animals. I am able to help around the house and am clean, tidy and respectful
