What I love about Couchsurfing is the idea of arriving in a city and connecting with someone who actually lives there, someone who can show me more than what I can find online, share their favorite spots, and help me see the place through their eyes.

One time a saw how a coati (those cute-but-evil raccoon-like animals) stole food straight out of my backpack while I was distracted, so I never trusted coatis again after that 😂
