Hi! We’re a couple (Mathilde and Bastian)
We live in Denmark, and would really like to travel and explore the world for a while. But we want to do it our own way, out of the “ordinary” and actually get some real life experiences on the way.
We’re very open minded, down to earth. We love music, dancing, painting, art(in all its forms). Food making (veggie), we love love love animals, learning new skills, we write poems, and letters to the moon, we climb trees and talk a lot about everything.
We’re very interested in culture, and would love to learn and see more of the world, people and history.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We’re here for travelling, exploring culture, cities, history, architecture, food, and definitely - meeting new people.
Couchsurfing is a beautiful way to meet new friends and expand your horizons. We hope to have some more great adventures on here.

Music, Movies, and Books

We really enjoy music in all its forms, it is something that is very important to us. There are so many ways to enjoy music, and we love to just lie down or paint while listening to new albums and genres. We play a lot of music too, both guitar, piano, drums and also singing.
We like Bill Withers, Mitski, Radiohead, The Strokes, Aurora, Kings of convenience, Guiding star orchestra, Tame impala, Kate Bush, Aphex Twin, The Beatles and so much more✨

Movies!! Mathilde loves movies, and is trying to get Bastian to watch more movies, at least all the classics. Good thing he met her (me :3 )
Wes anderson, tarantino, old russian movies, random kids movies honestly hit different, and a lot of good tv shows. Please give me new ones to watch!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Staying with a local beer-brewer-guy in Italy by lake garda drinking endless supplies of the darkest beer to ever exist and play harmonica, organ, guitar and sing together!
Watching the sunset with a monk living alone of a mountain in Sri Lanka, together with a local family who are now like family <3

Teach, Learn, Share

Skill sharing is really a key-word for us. We really believe that if you have something you can teach others, you should do it, and something will come back to you. New skills or maybe just the joy of teaching. The world is a big community, where we might as well share the best of us, so we can all be better. This also includes stories and important life lessons. <3
We would love to teach whatever we have of skills, playing music, cooking, drawing, painting, danish swear words, oh and Bastian has (almost) mastered whistling and we would love to learn anything aswell!

What I Can Share with Hosts

We would love to drink a beer, or tea and share stories or share some culture. Drawing, painting, playing music, board games and more creative quirks! We are very open to cooking together (veggie) and help with any projects you have going on.
