Overview
About Me
I’d love to say that I’m a cool and mysterious traveler but truth is, I’m a dork that needs a bit of time to overcome her shyness.
I have a never-ending list of overly ambitious DIY projects because YouTube makes everything look way too easy and I end up repeatedly humbled.
I also chronically overestimate my physical abilities and somehow end up trying to keep up while wheezing for air and pretending to be fine.
(I swear I was sweating and not crying when I climbed the 674 steps to reach the second floor of the Tour Eiffel... Maybe)
I have two cats and collect tropical plants that are growing way faster than my apartment is. I also never seem to dress for the right weather. A hoodie in the heat? Check. Summer dress during a sudden hailstorm? Also check.
And I'm never using umbrellas because I know for sure that I'll just forget them somewhere.
Looking forward to meeting funny and slightly chaotic people that are open to long chats, sharing a meal and teach me anything new
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I joined Couchsurfing because I want to learn how to open up more to people, to places, to the unpredictability of life.
As a naturally shy person, it’s easy for me to stay in my bubble... but I’m trying to stretch past that.
I think sharing space, stories, and maybe even awkward silences with strangers (hopefully soon to be friends?) is one of the best ways to grow.
So here I am a little nervous, a little excited, and fully ready.
Interests
- cats
- coffee
- nature
- food and drinks
Music, Movies, and Books
I have zero consistency for music genres. My playlist is slightly eclectic.
In a single trip to the grocery store you may hear 2000s emo songs, disney soundtracks, Chinese rap, metal or classical music.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
With how I live, probably survive.
