Hi, this year is our first time using Couchsurfing. We’re Yu Yang and Ke Hsuan, a couple from Taiwan currently on a one-year journey around the world. It’s our first time taking such a long trip, and we’re excited to explore new places, meet people, and learn along the way.

We both love nature and outdoor activities like hiking, diving, and camping. Yu Yang is a river tracing instructor who often spends his weekends in the mountains or by the river, while Ke Hsuan is passionate about photography and cooking.

We enjoy meeting new people during our travels, but we’re a little shy and not very fluent in English. we can communicate in basic English, but sometimes need a little extra time to understand. so If we seem quiet sometimes, please know it’s not out of rudeness .
we just need a bit more time to open up.

We’re grateful to be able to travel through couchsurfing. Thanks to CouchSurfing, we've been able to experience the warmth of the world, making our journey even more meaningful. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

We did a 9-day trek across Taiwan’s Central Mountain Range .

This trip:
We spent 30 days in India and experienced a unique culture shock.
We went to Oman in the Middle East and played in the Wahiba Desert
We fulfilled our dream and went to Türkiye for 26 days, riding a hot air balloon and a pirate boat.
We went to Egypt, a mysterious country, saw many ancient civilizations, and chased dolphins in the Red Sea!
We went to Jordan to see the incredible ancient city of Petra and also to a place that looks like Mars, Wadi Rum.
We went to the Balkans, visiting six countries in total, and had a great time every day.
We were lucky enough to encounter National Day in Vienna and even attended a concert!
