From a young age, I've always loved adventures. I wanted to be like Indiana Jones. I've been in a few rock bands, and lately I've been learning to play the saxophone. I enjoy farming and raising animals. I live in the countryside, near a small city called Salamanca. I'm originally from the north of the country, but my roots are in this area. I also make wine and liqueurs. I like mechanics and science in general, and I enjoy reading. I used to paint and had a couple of exhibitions. I work as a freelance photographer and have a small business. My brand is Fous Valer, which is how I appear on all my social media. Sometimes I work as a tour and heritage guide, but I work more steadily in education, as a workshop facilitator at two schools. I love plants and hills, visiting places with good architecture and history, and urban exploration.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
A friend recommended Eurorail to me for a trip. I'd heard of the platform but had never used it. I plan to take Eurorail and travel through parts of Europe, meet people, maybe even camp in the Pyrenees and the Swiss Alps, and share experiences.
Music, Movies, and Books
I really like classical music and rock, jazz and blues, ambient sounds, and nature music. Lately, I've been looking for electronic music for videos, and I think it's great. As for my favorite books, I wouldn't know where to begin, but I really like philosophy and history, Hermann Hesse, Umberto Eco, and Juan Cortada. It's a strange mix, but I also really like Anne Rice and Gabriel García Márquez. In film, well, I could talk a lot, but I really like Alberto Fuguett's movies.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
In 2016, I crossed the Andes Mountains on foot from Argentina to Chile. It was a 10-day trek through stormy weather, what's known as the Bolivian winter in the Andes during the summer. It was a fantastic experience; you feel something special being in high places and remote mountains.
What I Can Share With Hosts
My kitchen, a room to stay in, I have a very good library and instruments to play, plus lots of music on cassettes and vinyl records.
