ABOUT ME

***Currently travelling*** All about me...hmmm...putting me on the spot there. I am from Ireland and studying how to me the best darn Cearúil I can be.

I write a lot; plays, films, books hell I even write a few postcards from time to time.
I have released several books. One is called Bedtime Stories for Grown Ups and mixes humour, fairy tales and modern living. It is a short story collection. If you want a free copy then follow the link https://gumroad.com/l/JpTMy/1#
The second book is an educational textbook for secondary school students in Ireland. I wrote it so I could help young people better understand and manage the transition out of school into the wider world.
The third book called 'Sick Amour' is about a fictional band and the surreal adventures they go and the people they have encountered or been influenced by along the way.

I let people know about hospitality exchange websites when I get a feeling it would be their sort of thing. Host /Surf / Occasional meetups

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couched in Chicago, thanks Jimmy, thanks Paul, couched in Mexico thank you Liz, couched in El Salvador thanks Amado. Couched with Brittany the whole way through, thank you Brittany. We did a road trip from Toronto to Costa Rica, good times. Had ourselves a band and 13 students over as well as smaller groups. When I returned to Ireland we created a couchsurfing friendly house so we have had a good few pass through from 2011-2018. Had a great time being hosted in Portugal in 2016 as well. My trip through the Baltics has also been great fun for the people I have met (2019). Let's see what the future brings :)

Politics and current affairs, reading, smiling, jumping. Being creative in my walking style, dancing, having a really good hearty laugh (tears optional). People interest me immensely particularly the ones that love who they are, their love is infectious.

音乐、电影和书籍

Aldous Huxley, Gore Vidal, George Orwell, Kurt Vonnegut do me just fine. Edith Wharton and John Galsworthy are good writers. Malcolm X is a fantastic movie but his book is better and his life inspirational and sadly misunderstood, Air, The Doors, Pink Floyd, throw in some Billie Holiday, Rage against the Machine too, don't forget the Kinks and presently Dead Prez, Queen, Easy star all stars, Howling Wolf, Muddy Waters and Public Enemy again. More often than not I am listening to singles rather than whole albums.

You are who you are, because you made yourself that way, if you don't like it you can change it. Never fear your potential, never bury it in the sand.

I have plenty of love for history and for dissecting it. I am more of a brain food person but want to learn with my hands and body so something more practical would be welcome (bicycle repair, knitting, maybe breathing exercises or the likes, I will give it all a go and see what sticks).

If you know anything about marketing and promotion, I could always do with learning more :)
