ABOUT ME

Well, it's me. Not much to say at all, though people I know tend to disagree on that. So better ask them, no? After all, I'm just another person trying to get by with living. But still: it's all about learning something about yourself on the way, isn't it? And so far, I'm learning new stuff every day, so I guess I'm doing ok...

PHILOSOPHY

There ain't enough pathetic pseudo-philosophical phrases, clichés and words to describe my philosophies, all of them... But give me a chance to discuss them over a good bottle of wine or a beer or two, and you'll see!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As good as i can, with studying, working and not much time to sleep... But sleep's a bad substitute for caffeine anyways, as a good friend of mine so perfectly puts it! Still, in between all those things, I'll be most happy to host and help people experience Vienna, best not from some not-so tourist-prone sides!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted only until now - I never seemed to manage to check my schedule early enough for other's to manage... Introduced to CS by Sue, I quickly came to love the concepts behind it!

Waking Life, Gender Trouble have earned themselves a special mentioning... For music, kettcar, james is important, Grand Avenue, Dolly Parton, Johnny Cash of course, more recently, the Shiny Toy Guns maybe ... and, of course, the greatest, suicidal and still living (though split-up) metal band of all times: Sentenced! (yes, i'm a _little_ bit ashamed of my fixation on them...). Generally, there is only a very few genres of music that haven't produced at least one outstanding artist to fascinate me!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Going camping in Norway, in November, with 2 days notice beforehand. Getting lost in the desert in the Arizona and still living. Spending the night with a dog in a tent in Alaska, both of us almost freezing to death and both of us scared shitless of the bears roaming the wilderness around us... Being almost run over by an avalanche. Maybe more to come?

ancient greek (school knowledge).. though i wouldn't guess anyone might be interested in that! then: a lot about computers (boooring, i know)... a lot about camping, a lot about skiing, climbing... and generally a lot of different travel experience! Oh, and I cook, with pleasure.

Besides: a lot about knowing you don't know anything. yet.
