ABOUT ME

I am who I am. Thats about the best description I can give. I will, however, try my best to go into a little more detail. I was raised in the Reformed Church, and I try my best to continue living by those standards. Im a hard and honest worker. To me there isnt many things more rewarding than a job well done. Im always willing to reach out and lend a hand. That has resulted in bite marks a few times, but one doesnt know unles he tries, right? I have a large sense of humor, I love to laugh, even though my laugh sounds a little dorky. The things I hold dearest are God, family, and friends, in that order. I also like snow and rain and thunderstorms and driving and biking and hiking and walking and, well you get the idea. Im a pretty simple guy. It doesnt take much to make me happy.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

couch surfed the East coast from Boston to Philly. Amazing experience. Every single host was down right great. I hope to do that for someone.

Interests

Lots of things. Cars, history, movies, books, hunting, camping, driving, walking, just about anything. I like to learn.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies... well lots and lots of them. I like old movies. Le Mans, Bullit, The Good the Bad and the Ugly. I like car movies and westerns and action flicks. I do not, however, like huge sex scenes, gratuitous violence, or vulgarity. To me those just show the director's incompetence at making a good movie without those so-called "crowd pleasers".

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I got to Pit for a Buell racing crew at an 8 hour endurance race in Daytona FL. That all stemmed from meeting a guy at a gas station in Escanaba, MI on a motorcycle trip. Im a firm believer in giving strangers a chance.
