ABOUT ME

Patrick - relationship seasoned and comfortable in my own skin - kids are out of the house making their own careers. My partner Stephanie and I built and continue to work on and re-model this little place. We lean toward liberal views, and love nature - your typical tree-hugger types.

We also love the city, glad to be in the Northeast U.S., next to a State Park but only hours from Philly, Baltimore, New York and D.C.

Stephanie- Interpreted or taught at Deaf schools for past 15 yrs

Patrick - love to read, dabble in writing, hike, ride bike, visit with friends and family, sit by a wood stove and sip red wine, eating local, organic.

Patrick- Favorite Movie: "Brazil" but also "My brother from another planet" and "Man facing Southeast" I enjoy almost all types of music - Indie the most. Current favorite book is: "Stumbling on Happiness"

Stephanie- Barbara Kingsolver is a favorite author, music: folksy/bluegrass, world music, jazz from the 30s.. movies: Down by Law, Cinema Paradiso

Patrick - The craziest thing I did was to drive a motorcycle through the market in Luxor, Egypt! The bike had no lights, no front brake, and the owner sat on the back and reached around me to the horn and kept blowing it to get people out of the way.

Steph - travel by bike - across the US and throughout Europe.

Patrick - I like to learn what makes other people smile - what gives them joy and purpose in life. I am currently working on promoting simple green burials.

A curiosity for what brings you joy, my personal experiences in this life with great joys and devastating losses. Steph and I have a passion for experiencing life fully and openly and we would rather sleep on a couch or floor or in a tent.
