ABOUT ME

We are expats working in Luxembourg for the last year... we are very laid back relaxed people who take life as it comes... we like to travel, and to move out of our "comfort zone" for new challenges... we are more pub/café people rather then night club/rave people... .

We have been married for 6 years now. We have decided to leave work in Australia, and travel around Europe for a few months, before settling down somewhere in the UK / Europe to live for a few years. We have sold everything we own for a change in our lives and to meet new people and see new places

This will be a big change for us, as we are both genuine people who love our family and friends alot, so moving away from them will be difficult.... we hope to meet alot of new friends, and just enjoy life with them

PHILOSOPHY

being genuine is VERY important to us... we are genuine honest people, and would only like to meet similar genuine people...

we would like to think that we are very open minded and are easy to get along with... life is too short to fight, or be angry with someone or something...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have hosted alittle in Australia, but then it was time to leave Australia for our own adventure...The people we did host were great people, and cant wait to keep hosting interesting new people once we settle down...

While backpacking around Europe at the start of last year,we couchsurfed a lot. We met a lot of great friends that we hope to see again.

Our travelling has slowed down a little as the daily grind of working and paying bills has kicked in . So we are hosting again to continue meeting more friends and to "pay it forward" for all the act of kindness that were paid to us during our adventures .

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have great memories and experiences with couchsurfing.

Interesses

we love to hang out, have a quiet beer whilst chatting about... stuff...spending time experiencing life is our goal at the moment.

We are both pretty laid back, and love to meet people. We are both fairly active at home with sports and social clubs.

I love anything with a motor (especially motorbikes), whilst kristen loves her shopping, coffee with friends and just chatting to people... oh, and her dog thats called Kirby... sometimes i think she loves her dog more than me! :-)

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

Kristens favourite stuff includes Bourne Ultimatum movies, Da Vinci Code, any Englsh romantic comedies like Bridget Jones Diary amongst others... i love the typicql boy movies like Rambo, Matrix, Terminator and all that stuff... as for music... we both love our Australian music like Powderfinger, Silverchair, Paul Kelly...

Drinking champagne at the top of Mt Kilimanjaro on Uhuru Peak, watching the sun rise over Africa was truely special...

been swimming in a huge school of fish... completely surrounded so you can't see nothing but fish is just amazing!....

walking through the back alleys in Morroco, strolling the streets in Nairobi

riding an elephant in Thailand, walking a tiger in Thailand

Watching the sun set over the Saraha desert, whilst high on a sand dune was amazing. Even better to then watch the sun rise in the same spot the next morning

Riding a carmel in the Sahara Desert

At the moment we are trying to learn French, so if you can speak French... :)

We are more than happy to share a bottle of wine and a good meal...
