to apply myself in meaningful ventures.
I am currently finishing my degree in anthropology which has brought me to many interesting places throughout the last 5-7 years. Last place I lived in was Israel, where I stayed for a year while conducting fieldwork for my master's thesis.
Now I'm enjoying the homely life in Copenhagen with my boyfriend Rasmus, and preparing for the arrival of our first son!
Good things are not meant to be rationalized.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Started on CS by hosting different people in Copenhagen with Simon Then, I couchsurfed a variety of couches, for nearly half a year in Brazil, Argentina, Jamaica and The States.. Then later on, some more in Peru, Bolivia and Israel and then, and then again...
It's a good surprise, every time !
I enjoy many basic pleasures in life: music, food food and food, sleeping, movies, the company of interesting people, being in nature, dancing, swimming, singing by myself, and many many other things...
Music, Movies, and Books
Last week I read Knut Hamsun's story "The Wanderer", it was really good. Now I'm reading a book of short-stories by Rainer Maria Rilke. I also just started to read Amos Oz's "A Story about Love and Darkness"
I really enjoy music..! I listen to it all the time, both at home and at concerts, and I also play drums. I also really like to dance to music. it's the best.
Movies and TV...I'm quite the movie-nerd, and TVshow-enthusiast! I rarely pass up an opportunity to sit in front of a screen and get lost in movie-land. I have probably watched all the episodes of whatever TV-series you are watching ;-D
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hmmm... Horse-surfing in the Philippines, sleeping in hammocks in the jungle in the Amazones..! and much greatness in simple nights and days shared amongst good friends.
