ABOUT ME

I'm coming to terms with the fact that I'm a yippie... a New York urban professional who loves getting things accomplished and is organized and efficient, but also hippie to the core since I use my professional energy to help inspiring nonprofits succeed and love my side-careers in yoga, thai massage, and flow arts.

Right now, my new husband and I are in the middle of a year-long honeymoon. We got married at the end of September 2013 and left home a month later. It's been an incredible journey so far...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Before we left home on this honeymoon adventure, our apartment in New York was a revolving door for visiting friends, who would stay for a night or a month... the best payment is long evenings talking over home-cooked dinners and bottles of wine. In the past, I've stayed with friends, acquaintances, and friends of friends all around the world, which is beyond helpful with tight travel budgets.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I always travel with hula hoops and am always happy for a hoop jam. I teach yoga (alignment oriented vinyasa), and love playing with acroyoga. I've been diving into Thai massage studies. I cook and bake constantly, and am especially excited when I get to play in a kitchen after months living in guesthouses. And I love to organize things. Happy to use and/all of my skills as thanks for hosting me!
