ABOUT ME

I am a biologist and working at the Veterinary University Budapest as a lecturer and researcher. In the focus of my interest there is the neurophysiology, way of life of animals. I like observe animals and plants, too hiking in their original habitat.
Among my hobbies there is to get acquainted with cultures and their languages. I would like to visit as much countries and foreign cities as possible. Certainly it is joyful for me to show beauties of my homeland to inquirers, visitors. That's why I have a good amount of correspondents all over the world.

My other hobbies include collecting local history, reading history books, learning languages, palaeontology, collecting stamp, to learn how to restore vintage cars, as well as ecological gardening.

My wife, Noemi is also a biologist. She is working at Gedeon Richter pharmaceutical company. Her hobbies are playing violin, going to the mountains to hike, reading, travelling and saving our memories on photographs.

We have three sons, born in 2010 and 2014 (twins).

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate a bit different way as others do it. I can be proud of the some dozens of penfriends (all over Europe) with whom I'm in contact. It is like a network. Next to changing letters we share a lot of about or culture, folklore, language and so on. And it is time/money to travel everybody is welcomed by the 'members' home, such like here in CS.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We spent some jolly days in Salzburg by Bernhard's. With they could talk just a bit since our serried plan. In january 2010 I hosted one of my friends from Mexico. She was on a few day trip here in eastern Europe. I think the view of the city let her its deep experiences.

兴趣

I'm interested not only how is the life organized in the present, but in the past, too. My second chance next to neurobiology was paleontology to go on with my phd after my university years. I like reading books about foreign cultures, history, geography. And if I have some experiences or contacts with these cultures, I start pick up their languages as an addition.

音乐、电影和书籍

My favourite book (Allah Akbar) is written by Julius Germanus, the well known Hungarian orientalist. He could describe east as now other expert. His life was so rich in journey and scientific achievements, that if someone begins to read about him won't stop. I'm on to devise a webpage about his unique life and studies. You can read it in some weeks in English. The music I love is folklore, and some Latin and eastern. My favourite actors are Bud Spencer and Terence Hill.
