ABOUT ME

I like to travel without a lot of planning. I have traveled extensively in the U.S. I am originally from Oklahoma but moved to the NE in 2010 to work at YMCA Camp Lincoln. In 2012 I thru-hiked the Appalachian Trail and then returned to NH to work for a while. In 2014 I again left the NE to thru-hike the Pacific Crest Trail which I completed in August 2014. I love to go on adventures meet new people, and work in the camping world. I have spent the last 15 years working at various camps in numerous locations. I am currently traveling overseas from Nov. 2017-Nov. 2018.

PHILOSOPHY

We are not guaranteed time on earth. Have as many unique experiences as possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

As I was hiking I had the opportunity to stay with trail angels and the kindness and generosity I saw left an impression on me. I love the idea of sharing and opening our homes to people we may not know in order to make their lives a little better.

I have knowledge in First Aid/ CPR and Wilderness First AID. I Also have a Knowledge of constructing and home improvement projects.
