ABOUT ME

I've been tattooing for 13 years now and I enjoy traveling, hiking and foraging, finding waterfalls, snowboarding, and epic road trips. I have a cat named Guinness and he's a friendly little chonk.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in adventure. There are so many things out there to experience, why wait till your old to start? I've always had wanderlust, explaining why I have lived in so many places, and I want to get to know the places I visit like the locals would, not take some cheesy touristy vacation. It has it's ups and downs, but I love my life and don't want to go to the grave wishing I had done more. I want to be that person who always knows the best places, the friend you always get postcards from, and eventually the Auntie with all the greatest stories.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love traveling and I love being around people, this seems like a great way for me to go places I have always wanted to, meet great people along the way, and help out some friends all at the same time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Went to a concert in Lichtenfels and stayed with a really awesome guy, Johannes. I wish I had more time there to get to know him and his family, and had been able to go out for drinks. We've also hosted many people at our home in Hawaii.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I love books in general, fact, fiction, art books, travel books, language guides. I can always appreciate a good story. Music is kinda the same- I want there to be a message, whether the message be serious or completely whacked. I love singing to my steering wheel. Most of my music is rock/punk/ska/metal/rockabilly....etc. but I listen to other stuff too.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I keep a list of things to do before I die. So far the list is up to 87. Here are a few highlights:

Kissed the Blarney stone while on a St. Patty's day trip in Ireland.

Made close friends with people who don't speak a word of English.

Attended Medieval fest's (in period clothing) at Castles in Germany.

Germans infiltrating our camp and giving us corn liquor (still not 100% sure what it really was) and something akin to pop-rocks at 9:30 in the morning.

Watched a Flamenco show in Barcelona.

Was witness (a few times) to a new friend enjoying his/her first sip of German beer.

Snowboarding in Austria.

Experienced a bit of culture shock involving Czech coffee.

4 full days of Hardcore music and making friends with some of my favorite bands of all time.

Watching my American friend and some Dutch guys throw a shopping cart off a bridge in a collaboration to retrieve a euro.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I love to cook and create. I would love for someone to help me with baking and knitting, or teach me any languages.
