ABOUT ME

I'm freakin' awesome.

Perennial traveler, filmmaker by trade, cinematographer by profession, and recently an entrepreneur.

After getting out of NYU as fast as humanly possible, I hit the road, and for most the past four year I've been traveling the world and working as a filmmaker/cinematographer. I've been to most of the Western world, about 28 countries at current count, including 42 states in the US. Canada, Mexico, UK, Ireland, Western/Central/Northern/Southern Europe (only a bit of the east), China, Thailand, Australia, and New Zealand. I just returned to the San Francisco East East Bay after living in Berlin for 3 months developing a new company. Back in NY now, living the dream!

Music: Every genre's got some gold, but I'm particularly interested in a lot of experimental music...bands off the top of my head: Mike Patton's projects, Joanna Newsom, Cocorosie, Man Man, PFFR, Scott Matthew, Tom Waits, Panda Bear...and mashups

Movies: Avant-garde film rocks, as do post-apocalyptic films, Nathaniel Dorsky favorite hopelessly obscure director, favorite film "The Big Hit"

TV: Wonder Showzen, Xavier Renegade Angel, anything by PFFR, most everything on Adult Swim, Tim and Eric's Awesome Show Great Job!, Venture Brothers, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Home Movies, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report.

Places: Scandinavia (Norway wins...thus far, followed by Sweden, Denmark, Iceland and Finland), Berlin, Shanghai, Portland, Austin, Great Sand dunes of Colorado, Castle rocks in Mt. Diablo state park, Ireland's island of Cape Clear, the Burning Man festival every damn year (4 year vet!)
