ABOUT ME

I am married with Kirstine and we have our son Winston (from 2016) with us, we live in the southern part of Denmark, in Vejle city. I love sport, adrenalin and traveling around the world. Kirstine is more calm, she likes animals, nature and to paint but of course also to travel. We are very laidback and relaxed, and can both enjoy partying and a chillmoment.
We are in generally hospitable and helpful to friends, family, people we meet in the street and to couch surfers.
At times we are very buissy (working extra to save for a trip for example) - but our home is always open, even though it might mean that we dont have as much time as wanted, to show our guests around.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Before we joined Couch surfing our couch already got used a lot by friends and people we meet, so it's naturally to us to open our home to strangers. When we are travelling we love to meet local people, and see how they are living.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We stayed at a really nice family i Peru. They used a lot of time showing us their life and work, made us a traditional dinner and we had a really cozy time with them. In DK we had a couple from Schwitzerland to stay, who had the best humor and really kind personalitys. They even made us a nice dinner an evening where we came home really late from work - so nice of them.
CS is a really good chance to widen your horizont.

Music, Movies, and Books

We are not that much into watching a lot of movies, but we really enjoy to listen to a lot of music. LIke for an example.. Motorhomes, anthony and the johnsons, lampshade, entakt, michael jackson, Jack johnson, radiohead, metallica, nirvana, rem, tracy chapman, la oreja de van gogh, placebo, mana, tendersticks, etc etc..

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Walking from Katmandu to MT. Everest Base camp, in 31 days.. 12-14 hours walking a day.
Crossed Africa on a Honda Africa Twin Motorbike
