Sleeping more than 4 hours a night
I live in Haifa and likes it a lot. I make my living as an Environmental Engineer, and when I'm not busy with work I will make sure I'm busy with some kind of Political activism. In between I fill the gaps with as much inspiring music (Israeli Indie, Balkan, festivals and whatever makes my ears happy), high doses of humor and comedy (I can spend hours watching monty python sketches or Louie CK's standups) traveling around as much as possible (short hikes close to home or long tracks all around Israel), and most important - I try to be around people with a good heart and interesting stories. I like to show people around Haifa and my neighborhood, Hadar, while sharing the things that are important for me.
Yes please :-)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Hosting as much as I can - It's amazing that while I don't have time or money to travel around the world, around the world is coming to sleep at my apartment :-)
I Met some great CS people in Japan and in Romania while traveling there, and they made my visits there very unique.
Israeli political and enviromental issues, Judaism (Jewish philosophy), Indie Music (Live concerts!), traveling in Haifa's natural places, getting to know different cultures
Music, Movies, and Books
Mainly Israeli Indie music, that I will love to share. If you are comming - bring some local music with you, thats always great.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
The main fish market in Tokyo, Japan. I swear to god they didn't left any fish at sea that day.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'v studied Judaism for one year and will be glad to teach and explain about jewish philosophy (I'm not a religious person myself). I can also talk for hours about anything that has to do with Israeli politics and Israeli Environmental issues. I enjoy sharing my love to Israeli music.
